CoMet: Comparative Methodology A Technical Note: Transport Systems

چکیده

We present “standard” domain description and requirements prescription exam-ples using the RAISE [106] Specification Language, RSL [104]. The illustrated exampleis that of transportation networks.The purpose of this technical note is to serve as one of hopefully several “devel-opments” of transportation networks using different approaches, including differentspecification languages, in addition to RSL also Alloy [130], CafeOBJ [103], Event B[3], VDM [101] and Z [221].The objective of developing “similar” specifications is for the corresponding tech-nical notes to serve as a basis for teaching “varieties of formal methods” and forresearching their “differences”. We call this objective for comparative methodology,CoMet.
